Effective teaching, accelerated learning in a digital world

We are a learning community where all members are connected and empowered through a shared pedagogy, a shared understanding of the Manaiakalani kaupapa, and a commitment to supporting digital competence, capability and confidence in teachers and akonga.

Partners embrace the “Learn, Create, Share” pedagogy along with its digital infrastructures and affordances. The Manaiakalani Programme particularly, but not exclusively, focuses on children, their families and whānau in challenged, stressed and isolated communities, often in Decile 1 and 2 school areas.

Manaiakalani and its partners are committed to supporting those learners and families who find it difficult to access and/or afford local, global and digital citizenship.
