Pedagogy - PLD 

Targeted teaching and learning support aims to provide teachers with an intensive wrap around programme of learning during their first year teaching in our schools.  

Each of the Professional Learning and Development elements are designed to support teachers to become at home in a digital world, and confidently harness the affordances of digital technologies in their practice. 

Outcomes include teachers developing their capability to engage our young people both behaviourally and cognitively and to empower learners and accelerate achievement, through creative learning opportunities, 

The combined elements of this programme are designed to support all Manaiakalani learners to understand the power of belonging to connected learning networks, and to develop the competencies to participate in respectful and positive sharing in the digital world.
